Lots of people have asked me to keep them updated as I travel this summer. While I will certainly do so personally, I figured I could write a lot on this blog and chronicle as much of this shebang as possible. So here's the plan. On June 1, barring any Icelandic volcano named Rvkygkyfavkyafgk burping a smoke monster into the air, I am flying to London. From there, I'll wiggle up through Spain, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands (see below). Then on June 20, I'll fly to India and stay with family for two weeks, after which I'll roam around other parts of India for two additional weeks with two of my best friends (Taj Mahal, Delhi, Agra, Sariska, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, elephants, etc). Then on July 20, I'll fly to Budapest where another best friend will host me for a few days, after which I'll hop back to London. Finally on July 29, I'll return to Texas (eek smokey). With this blog, I intend to chronicle those two months as best as I can.
The following is my intended itinerary for those first three weeks I'll be in Europe. It's still flexible, so let me know if you have any ideas.
